Review of Parc Asterix, Paris, France
Parc Asterix is an amazing theme park which is situated close to Charlse De Gaul airport in Paris. The theming throughout is Aztec and extremely well done.
The park has some amazing rides for thrill seekers such as Oziris which is an inverted coaster similar to Nemesis but is the best of its kind I have ever ridden. There are rides to suit all ages including a wooden coaster for thrill seekers to family and childrens rides such as a log flume and pirate ship.
One ride I would warn about is Goudurix. This is a coaster built by Vekoma and is a very rough ride. Dont get me wrong, it is a good ride but it does hurt.
One feature the park has is its daily dolphin show which is absolutly stunning. Although it is all in French, it does not matter. During my visit I didnt really eat much other than a hot dog which was quite expensive but was ok quality but I couldnt comment on any other food. I would say that entry to the park is quite reasonable at around 40 Euros.
If you are visiting from the airport then I would advise buying your tickets at the airport itself as you can then get a shuttle bus direct to the park from there for just 1 Euro return whereas if you pay for the bus on its own it is around 10 Euros.
